Security Officer Job at Four Seasons (Nashville)

Job Responsibility

Patrol hotel premises and grounds to identify and address safety, security, and fire hazards
Respond to emergency situations, security incidents, medical calls, and guest assistance requests in a timely and professional manner
Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, emergency phones, and access control systems
Enforce hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards to protect guests, employees, and property
Assist with incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate security records and logs
Support emergency preparedness initiatives, including fire prevention, evacuation procedures, and participation in emergency response activities
Provide key control services and assist with guestroom lock and safe-related issues
Promote loss prevention and safety awareness throughout the hotel through observation, communication, and training support
Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and other external agencies when necessary
Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a professional, approachable, and responsive presence throughout the property

Minimum one year of security experience, preferably within a luxury hotel, hospitality, or customer service environment
Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to complete detailed incident reports and effectively respond to emergency situations
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and overnights
Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, and responding quickly to emergencies
