Working within the heart of Brixton at a vibrant and unique location, you will provide security services for a multi tenanted and multi-use site. You will support the delivery of a truly exceptional customer journey for both staff and visitors. To achieve this, you will be/become well versed in the processes and practices of a security professional. Excellence in customer service will be at the heart of the role. You will be part of a well drilled security operation.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors

Ensure all contact, be it internal or external

Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system, and completion of reports and documentation in a timely fashion
Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site and assist in the facilitation of their safe execution and practice
All Assignment Instructions / Operations Manual or Standard Operating Procedures are to be reviewed, understood and followed
To complete any other reasonable task as instructed by your line manager or other Senior Manager
To act with integrity and in the best interests of the company in a safe, compliant and ethical manner
To be resilient to working in the most sensitive environments, dealing with any conflict with a respectful and empathic approach at all times
Welcome and assist staff, clients, tenants and visitors to the premises in a warm and courteous fashion
Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas
Check identity and credentials of staff, contractors and visitors where required
Work with all colleagues to ensure the integrity of security on the site
Early identification and mitigation of any threats to persons, premises or property, escalating where appropriate to do so
Have an outstanding knowledge of the premises (inside and external) and able to assist staff, clients, tenants and visitors with their queries
Respond to alarms
Key control
Record details of any suspected criminal activity on the premises (internal and external)
Develop and maintain positive interactive relationships with all staff, visitors, tenants, service providers and clients
Have good knowledge of the local area to be able to answer queries regarding local transport links or services
Building patrols. Patrolling internal and external areas of the assignment checking for good housekeeping, building faults or health and safety issues
Requirements:

Resilient and calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task and prioritise to help solve problems and overcome challenges
Physically able to conduct all responsibilities associated with the roles documented
Ability to work to instruction and on your own initiative where required
Computer literate and confident with the use of Microsoft Office programmes
Demonstrate an awareness of security threats which remain relevant and up to date in the context of the current environment
Flexibility in regard to working practices, hours and responsibilities
Valid SIA frontline security licence
