Job Description:

Security Officer position at Al Manara a Luxury Collection Hotel Saraya Aqaba, responsible for property security, guest assistance, emergency response, and maintaining safety standards throughout the hotel property.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol all areas of the property
Assist guests with room access
Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system
Lock property entrances when required
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections
Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required
Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
Notify appropriate individuals of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
Defuse guest/employee disturbances
Call for outside assistance if necessary
Complete incident reports
Handle interruptions and complaints
Resolve safety hazard situations
Escort unwelcome persons from property
Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
Complete Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report
Maintain confidentiality of reports/documents
Conduct investigations and gather evidence
Conduct interviews with relevant parties

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to lift objects over 75 pounds with assistance
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to navigate stairs and service ramps
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
