Job Responsibility:

  • Maintenance of good order on site, including protection of everyone against violent acts, abuse and accident
  • Protection of the client’s property against loss, theft, damage and waste
  • Protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors
  • Prevent offences against the law and company policies
  • Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are clear
  • Undertake internal and external patrols and inspections
  • Meet and greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out
  • Escalating security and maintenance related issues via detailed reports
  • Production and administration of access pass cards
  • Monitor, escalate and respond to alarms with CCTV, Security & BMS systems
  • Management of Contractors for the client and tenants

Requirements:

  • Hold a Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA License
  • Hold a CCTV License
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask, and prioritise effectively
  • Physically able to perform all duties associated with the role
  • Computer confident, proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Possess a valid SIA license
  • First Aid at Work qualification
  • Meet BS7858 standard vetting for 5-year work history

Nice to have:

  • Prior 5 yr work experience in the security industry and/or within the hospitality sectors
  • Familiarity with technologies used to detect security threats
  • Enhanced communication, listening, and customer service skills

  • Takes initial information for an incident report, uses proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, notes only the facts, leaving out personal opinions and submits report in a timely manner (no later than the end of assigned shift)
  • Responds promptly to all service requests relayed by supervisor, telephone, pass-on, e-mail, radio, cell phone and other correspondence in a courteous and expeditious manner
  • Responds to the collection, inventory and return of lost and found items, patient valuables, and personal property according to policy
  • Enforces all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of CHRISTUS Health and the laws of the state in which CHRISTUS is doing business
  • Controls and enforces facility parking using patrols, violation warning citations, towing, booting and explanation of rules as applicable
  • Assists clinical/non-clinical Associates with combative patients or visitors
