Job Description:

As a Security Guard - Pearlridge Mall Patrol Driver in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling retail and mall locations. This is a driving post, requiring you to patrol assigned areas by vehicle and on foot, while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors and staff, upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Job Responsibility:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail mall location, and respond to emergencies as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, working closely with the public and tenants as needed
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail mall and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns
Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or onsite contacts
Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access within the retail mall environment
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations as required by Allied Universal policies

Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
