A Security Officer is responsible for protecting and serving MUSC Health Pee Dee Division patients, staff, and visitors, in addition to monitoring and protecting facilities and assets, across the Pee Dee Division Security Officers monitor and operate access control systems, security camera systems, intercoms, two-way radios, telephones, and alarm systems
Job Responsibility
Patrol facilities and grounds
Provide emergency assistance and response
Interact with patients, families, visitors, law enforcement and correctional officers
Support MUSC Health staff with issues involving security and safety concerns
Complete detailed notes based on observations
Conduct security investigations and interviews
Write detailed reports regarding incidents and events
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or 10 direct years of job related experience
Minimum One (1) year relevant experience or appropriate preferred education requirements
BLS or CPR Required, certification must be obtained within 30 days of Hire
