Unitrust Protection Services (UK) Ltd have an exciting opportunity available for a Leading Officer to join our team. The candidates we are looking for must be reliable, professional, and dedicated to supplying a best-in-class service. Unitrust are looking to recruit professional, reliable Security Officer’s to deliver a best-in-class service to a new prestigious contract in Soho, London.

Job Responsibility:

  • The maintenance of good order on site, including the protection of everyone therein against violent acts, abuse and accident
  • The protection of the client’s property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and waste
  • The protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors against loss, theft and damage
  • Prevent offences against the law of the land, Unitrust disciplinary codes and policies and ensure all are brought to the attention of the management
  • Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are clear
  • Undertake internal and external patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment Instruction and SOPs
  • Working with the reception team meet and greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out
  • Escalating any security and maintenance related issues to building management team by detailed and accurate emailed reports
  • Production and administration of access pass cards for tenants and visitors for the access control system
  • Monitor, escalate and respond to alarms as required with the CCTV, Security & BMS systems
  • Management of Contractors for the client and tenants

Requirements:

  • Hold a Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA License
  • Hold a CCTV License
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask, and prioritise effectively
  • Physically able to perform all duties associated with the role
  • Computer confident, proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Possess a valid SIA license
  • First Aid at Work qualification
  • Meet BS7858 standard vetting for 5-year work history

Nice to have:

  • Prior 5 yr work experience in the security industry and/or within the hospitality sectors
  • Familiarity with technologies used to detect security threats
  • Enhanced communication, listening, and customer service skills

  • Responds promptly to all service requests relayed by supervisor, telephone, pass-on, e-mail, radio, cell phone and other correspondence in a courteous and expeditious manner
  • Responds to the collection, inventory and return of lost and found items, patient valuables, and personal property according to policy
  • Enforces all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of CHRISTUS Health and the laws of the state in which CHRISTUS is doing business
  • Controls and enforces facility parking using patrols, violation warning citations, towing, booting and explanation of rules as applicable
  • Assists clinical/non-clinical Associates with combative patients or visitors
