An Epic Icon needs an Epic Team! Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Security Officer to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Security Officer who is fair and wishes to be a part of the Yulara community. You will be securing, patrolling, watching, guarding, and protecting all people within our Ayers Rock Resort. Respond to a range of issues such as noise complaints, domestic disturbance, anti-social behaviour, and medical emergencies. Job Responsibility:

  • Monitor guest and resident's behaviours and respond to complaints and incidents in a timely and professional manner through securing, patrolling, watching, guarding and protecting VITA people and infrastructure including responding to alarm call outs (Fire/Security)
  • Provide access control for resort zones controlling the movement of persons, vehicles, goods/property coming out of or going into the zones, monitoring and recording description and quantities if required and ensuring appropriate identification/level of authority are produced
  • Utilise a range of electronic equipment in the performance of their duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate II in Security & Senior First Aid Certificate (both current for minimum 6 months)
  • Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC (Aviation Security identity Card)
  • The ability to obtain and hold a Northern Territory Security Officer and Crowd Control licenses
  • The ability to obtain and hold your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
  • Valid Full Australian Drivers Licence
