Minimum Certificate II in Security & Senior First Aid Certificate (both current for minimum 6 months)
Ability to obtain and hold an ASIC (Aviation Security identity Card)
The ability to obtain and hold a Northern Territory Security Officer and Crowd Control licenses
The ability to obtain and hold your RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
Valid Full Australian Drivers Licence

Job Responsibility

Monitor guest and resident's behaviours and respond to complaints and incidents in a timely and professional manner through securing, patrolling, watching, guarding and protecting VITA people and infrastructure including responding to alarm call outs (Fire/Security)
Provide access control for resort zones controlling the movement of persons, vehicles, goods/property
Utilise a range of electronic equipment in the performance of their duties

Job Responsibility

Promote safety awareness and enforcement throughout the hotel to reduce accidents and loss by providing training as required
Respond to all emergency calls including Emergency Response team calls
Assist in the Fire Command center when needed
