Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Retail Driving Role in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a retail or mall location. You will remain visible to visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to various situations with professionalism. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Job Responsibility:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail or mall location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting visitors, tenants, and staff as needed
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues within the retail or mall environment
Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required by site protocols
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the location
Assist with crowd management and/or customer inquiries to maintain a welcoming environment for all patrons

Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
