Job Description:

The Security Officer is an essential member of the Security team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests, employees, and hotel property in accordance with Four Seasons' core standards. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and the ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. The Security Department operates 24/7 to maintain a secure environment. This position requires a flexible work schedule based on operational needs.

Job Responsibility:

Patrol the hotel premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence
Monitor CCTV cameras and fire safety systems in the security control room
Respond to emergencies such as fire, medical situations, accidents, theft, or suspicious activity
Provide assistance to guests and employees during emergency situations, including evacuation and first aid
Prepare incident reports, logbooks, and maintain proper documentation of all security related activities
Enforce hotel rules and regulations to ensure a safe and secure environment
Control access points to ensure only authorized personnel are allowed in restricted areas
Assist in investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss, and other security incidents
Monitor staff and contractor entry/exit and verify identification as required
Support crowd control during large-scale events or VIP movements
Perform bag checks and parcel inspections for employees and contractors as per hotel policy
Provide excellent guest service while maintaining a professional demeanor
Report any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues to relevant departments
Follow procedures concerning hotel fire and life safety/emergency
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Operate and control the keys, lock system, alarm system, surveillance system and fire protection system

Requirements:

Skilled problem solving
High attention to detail
High sense of ethics and honesty
Knowledge of local law enforcement
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Firm knowledge of Security operations
Minimum of 1 full year of employment in related position with Four Seasons or other organization, or Law Enforcement /Military experience
Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia
Must have the right to work in Malaysia
