Job Responsibility

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with campus staff and/or local first responders as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment
Monitor access points and interior areas for unusual activity, provide directions and assistance to students, staff, and visitors, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations
Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to the site contact and/or Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related checks such as door and alarm status as assigned
