As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles according to site procedures
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all activities, incidents, and security-related observations during the shift
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location
  • Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies, procedures, and protocols while performing assigned duties

Requirements:

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
