Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, sales floors, service corridors, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to identify unusual activity and/or hazards
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with wayfinding and policy questions, and support retail loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious activity
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal supervision, and support opening and/or closing procedures as assigned

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
