As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Patrol in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will support guests and tenants with helpful communication while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.
Job Responsibility:
Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, sales floors, service corridors, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to identify unusual activity and/or hazards
Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with wayfinding and policy questions, and support retail loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and reporting suspicious activity
Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal supervision, and support opening and/or closing procedures as assigned
Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
