Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol Driver in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a vibrant retail and mall location. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with guests and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing established protocols
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including both the business interior and the surrounding perimeter
  • Observe for and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related concerns to help to deter unwanted incidents
  • Work collaboratively with site management, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences
  • Support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors by providing assistance and information as needed

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
