Job Responsibility

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter policy violations, assist with access-related concerns, and support orderly activity during peak business hours and special events
Assist with routine inspections of doors, gates, lighting, and other property conditions, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious activity according to post orders

Monitor and manage car parking including issue of permits, Visitor parking permits and penalty notices
Identify and report any faults with equipment and premises (whether security related or not) to the premises helpdesk
Assist other estates and premises staff with any other estates and premises related tasks as required to support the operation of the college. Perform such duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post, and are commensurate with its level of responsibility
As part of team to staff the control room and monitor operations and CCTV systems.
