As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This role offers the chance to support people first service, respond to site needs with agility, and deliver reliable, innovative care through teamwork and integrity every day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
  • Monitor public areas and/or restricted spaces for unusual activity, assist with visitor and employee interactions, and communicate with local authorities and site contacts when needed
  • Support order at the location by following post instructions, addressing policy-related issues with professionalism, and providing visible presence throughout assigned areas

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
