As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Job Responsibility

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
  • Monitor public areas and/or restricted spaces for unusual activity, assist with visitor and employee interactions, and communicate with local authorities and site contacts when needed
  • Support order at the location by following post instructions, addressing policy-related issues with professionalism, and providing visible presence throughout assigned areas

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Nice to have

  • CPR certification is preferred
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred
