Job Responsibility

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any unusual circumstances
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as needed
Document and communicate security-related incidents and observations according to established procedures
Assist with crowd management and help to maintain order during busy periods or special events at the location
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to address security-related concerns and provide a visible presence

Job Responsibility

Conducts frequent security patrols of the facilities and grounds as assigned
Identifies and reports trends related to security issues. Recommends actions
Takes initial information for an incident report, uses proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, notes only the facts, leaving out personal opinions and submits report in a timely manner (no later than the end of assigned shift)
Responds promptly to all service requests relayed by supervisor, telephone, pass-on, e-mail, radio, cell phone and other correspondence in a courteous and expeditious manner
Responds to the collection, inventory and return of lost and found items, patient valuables, and personal property according to policy
Enforces all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of CHRISTUS Health and the laws of the state in which CHRISTUS is doing business
