Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate storage property, where you will make routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will document observations, communicate clearly with your team, and bring Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.
Job Responsibility:
Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial property, including drive lanes, common areas, and perimeter lines, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit to storage and parking areas, including checking identification and/or authorization when required by post orders
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting management and/or public emergency services as needed and assisting with de-escalation
Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts, and support property rules such as parking, loitering, and after-hours access
Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
A guard card/license is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
