That's why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Welcome Center in Oldwick, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a professional financial services location
  • monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry in alignment with site policies
  • respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed
  • maintain detailed front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership
  • answer questions, provide directions, and support employees, guests, and vendors while observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns promptly

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • possess a high school diploma or equivalent

  • as a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
