Join Allied Universal as an unarmed, driving patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate storage location. You will make routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, check gates and access points, and respond to calls for assistance. Bring strong customer service, clear communication, and integrity as you document activity and work with your team to keep operations running smoothly.
Job Responsibility:
Provide customer service to tenants, owners, vendors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, post orders, and site-specific policies, and by assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the property, including parking areas, storage units, common areas, gates, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage
Monitor access points and observe site conditions, checking for unsecured doors, open gates, suspicious behavior, and maintenance concerns
document and report findings per site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, lock and/or unlock requests per policy, alarms, and tenant concerns
notify management and/or public services as required
Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate notable events during shift turnover, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information per policy
Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
A guard card/license is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
