As a Security Officer - GSOC Operator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, assist with coordinating responses to incidents, and help to deter security-related issues. Job Responsibility:
Monitor and coordinate communications for security-related activities within the location, maintaining awareness of all incidents and/or critical situations
Dispatch appropriate personnel in response to alarms, incidents, or requests for assistance, following site-specific protocols
Document and report all security-related incidents and/or irregularities as they occur, maintaining accurate records
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed
Support emergency response activities by communicating information quickly and accurately to the appropriate parties
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access
Maintain knowledge of site-specific policies and procedures to carry out assigned duties in a professional manner
Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located
At least 1 year of security operations center experience is required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Nice to have:
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred
