As a Security Officer - Telecom Command Center in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location where you will support a dispatch post by monitoring alarms and cameras, coordinating responses, and documenting security-related activity. You will help manage access control and badge activity, communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors, and use computers and/or tablets to keep operations moving. Job Responsibility:
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms, CCTV, phones, radios, and access control systems, and routing calls for service to on-site personnel as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and communications with site management and public responders when directed
Document activities in daily reports and incident reports, including calls for service, dispatch actions, and system events, and maintain accurate logs and records
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned
Requirements:
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Experience with Everbridge is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
