As a Security Officer - Flex Entry Screener in Ewa Beach, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Screener at a bustling food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to guests and staff. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming environment by providing outstanding customer service and clear communication.

Job Responsibility

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies within a food and beverage location
Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access, following established protocols
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities as appropriate
Maintain a visible presence at entry points to help to deter potential security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed
Document incidents and observations accurately, following company and client reporting procedures

Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
