Job Description

As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Responsibility

  • Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe for policy violations or suspicious activity, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed
  • Support order at the location by assisting with directions, answering questions, documenting daily activities, and following post instructions for government-related operations

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Baton certification is preferred
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
