Job Description:

As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for visitors and staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services when needed
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
  • Monitor public areas and access points for policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity, and report observations through appropriate channels
  • Assist with directing foot traffic, answering questions, and documenting security-related incidents, daily activities, and/or notable events in required reports

Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services when needed
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
  • Monitor public areas and access points for policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity, and report observations through appropriate channels
  • Assist with directing foot traffic, answering questions, and documenting security-related incidents, daily activities, and/or notable events in required reports
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
