As a Security Officer - Evening Patrol Driver in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will document activity and support the team using site technology.
Job Responsibility:
Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail property
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or property concerns
Monitor access points and respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and local responders as needed
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate notable updates to site leadership and incoming officers
Help to maintain orderly conditions by providing direction, de-escalating disturbances when possible, and supporting retail loss prevention and crowd management during peak traffic and special events
Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
