As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will drive and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and complete routine checks and reports. You will greet tenants and visitors, respond to requests with clear communication, and support the site through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.
Job Responsibility:
Provide customer service to tenants, owners, vendors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and other security-related policies
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, storage areas, parking lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns
Monitor entrances, gates, and common areas
verify authorization for entry as required and assist with directing traffic and/or parking when needed
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
request assistance from emergency responders and/or site management when appropriate
Document patrol activity, incidents, and tenant or owner interactions in written reports and logs
communicate notable observations to Allied Universal supervision and the site representative
Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
A Guard Card or license is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
