Job Description:

As a Security Officer Credential Review in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, credential verification, and/or security-related response activities as appropriate for the location
  • Monitor entry and exit points, review badges and identification, and help to deter unauthorized access to offices, lobbies, data-sensitive areas, and other restricted spaces
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, gates, and access control equipment for unusual conditions or security-related concerns
  • Support employee, contractor, and visitor movement by maintaining post logs, reporting access-related issues, and following established protocols for deliveries, escorts, and after-hours entry requests

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
