Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and security-related policies for a logistics and distribution location
  • Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and/or shipping-related documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location, trailer yards, and restricted areas
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, visitor records, vehicle entry documentation, and other required reports related to access control and site operations
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gate areas, and parking locations, with attention to changing conditions, traffic flow, and security-related concerns

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
