As Security Mobile Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of mobile security services across your assigned area. You will be responsible for overseeing mobile officers, maintaining high service standards, and acting as a central point of contact for operational issues, escalations, and client support. Working closely with the wider operations and control room teams, you will ensure mobile patrols are deployed effectively, incidents are managed professionally, and contractual requirements are consistently met. This role requires a proactive, organised individual who can balance operational oversight with hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced environment. This is a Monday to Friday role, offering a mix of operational oversight, coordination, and leadership responsibility.
Job Responsibility:
Managing and supporting mobile security officers to ensure service excellence
Overseeing daily mobile operations, including patrols, alarms, and incident response
Acting as the escalation point for operational and client issues
Ensuring compliance with company procedures, SIA standards, and contractual obligations
Liaising with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
Supporting investigations, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Completing weekly Vacant Property Inspections
Day time patrol work
Managing a small fleet of patrol vehicles
Deputising for the Control Room Manager during holiday periods
Requirements:
Previous experience in a mobile security, operations, or supervisory/management role
Strong knowledge of security operations, incident management, and compliance requirements
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal professionally with clients and colleagues
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
Confidence managing people, priorities, and operational challenges
A valid SIA licence (or willingness to obtain if required)
