Job Description:

Allied Universal is hiring a Global Security Mapping Specialist to work at a Tech Company located in Austin, TX. Advance your security career with a team that upholds professionalism, dependability, and integrity while securing one of the world’s top technology campuses. The Global Security Mapping Specialist’s primary role is the tracking of security devices and access levels globally, primarily focused on the construction and maintenance of security maps. The specialist will review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. The Global Security Mapping Specialist collaborates with multiple teams to resolve discrepancies between original and final drawings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure accuracy with security data across multiple systems and drawings
  • Create security drawings from project data, installation notes, and CAD drawings
  • Regular maintenance of security drawings from various Global Security teams
  • Escalate and follow up on discrepancies within the security drawings
  • Perform regular audits of system software to ensure accuracy

Requirements:

  • Security Experience - +1 Years
  • Adobe Illustrator/ Access control experience/ Strong technology proficiency required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication amongst a team environment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced Security environment.
  • Aptitude for learning various systems and applications.
  • Working knowledge of Mac operating system.
  • Must be flexible on schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to learn and utilize art/graphic design software
  • Able to work independently and within a team on daily tasks and projects

Nice to have:

  • Preferred experience in Lenel, Adobe Illustrator, VidSys, and Milestone.
  • Previous experience within a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) environment
  • AutoCAD experience
