Oversee daily security operations at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, ensuring safety, compliance, and managing the security team.
Requirements:
Oversee daily security operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and applicable laws
Review and analyze incident reports and ensure proper documentation and resolution
Coordinate with OICs to address immediate security concerns, emergencies, or other incidents on the property
Ensures that all equipment: keys, vehicles, radios, time clocks, flashlights etc. are handed over, checking for any damage or discrepancies
Inspects personnel reporting for work ensuring that they are properly attired, inclusive of ID badge and name tags, and are neat and clean
Checks that personnel rostered have reported to work, making provisions, when necessary, for shift coverage, if all persons expected to not show
Ensures that personnel are briefed, assigned to their posts, and relieve persons from previous shift
Ensures that the information for the Daily Incident Report has been forwarded as per instructions, and also placed on the Notice Boards
Ensures that entries have been made in the registers regarding the issue of equipment
also that all incidents are logged in diaries and that diaries are being kept in the assigned areas
Checks tapes from the Time Clock, noting any discrepancies
Checks the Activities Register for scheduled activities in assigned area, arranging for any Security posting requesting
Lead and assist in investigations of security-related incidents on the property, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up
Collaborate with law enforcement and other external agencies when necessary
Prepare detailed reports and summaries for management regarding security operations and incident resolutions
Directs and controls any emergency situation that may arise until properly relieved by some other senior personnel
Ensures that the correct methods of operation are being carried out and that Company policies are being observed within the resort
Supervises Security Officers making periodic checks to ensure that they remain alert and in areas posted
Advises security personnel, giving directions when necessary or requested
Cooperates fully with all Surveillance Department personnel in matters related to this resort
Informs Director of all serious matters taking place in the resort, consulting the Director for advice or instructions when in doubt
Be alert and knowledgeable in all security matters as it relates to the protection of company property, safety of guests and employees and liaison with the Police Department
Be aware of all contingency plans for the resort including Evacuation Plan, Hurricane Plan, Fire Plan, Bomb Threats, Food Poisoning, Swimming Pool and Beach Accidents
Conducts on the job training for junior and newly hired employees, maintaining an accurate record of sessions conducted and who have and have not participated
Adheres to and enforces company rules and regulations as well as the Laws of the Bahamas
Attends training sessions and meetings as required
Ensures that malfunctioning equipment, safety hazards are promptly reported and corrected
Maintains confidentiality of information received
Carries out any other reasonable duty that may be requested by management
Possess a legal ability to work in The Bahamas without sponsorship
