As Security Manager, you will support the overall safety, loss prevention, and emergency preparedness of the hotel, ensuring the protection of guests, employees, and property. Working closely with hotel leadership team, you will supervise daily security operations, maintain regulatory compliance, and uphold the discreet, refined atmosphere that defines Four Seasons. Your role will be central in creating a secure environment that enables a seamless and welcoming guest experience.
Job Responsibility:
Oversees the Security contractor by interacting exclusively with the external company's representative, avoiding any risk of unlawful interposition and ensuring a positive and constructive relationship
Supervise and coordinate all daily security tasks, related to guests complains, safety, loss prevention and internal operations
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity procedures
Ensure compliance with local security laws, fire safety codes, and regulatory standards
Maintain effective relationships with local authorities, emergency services, and relevant external partners
Monitor risk management programs, conduct security inspections, and review incident reports to identify areas for improvement
Support hotel-wide, awareness initiatives, and onboarding programs
Organize and facilitate local mandatory safety/security training
Uphold the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times
Assist leadership in fostering a culture of safety and service excellence within the security team
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a related field
Knowledge of national security regulations, fire safety codes, and emergency procedures
Training and qualification that certifies the role of safety trainer, in accordance with Italian regulations
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel or resort security, including supervisory responsibility
Experience in luxury or ultra-luxury hospitality environments, with a strong understanding of guest expectations for discretion and comfort
Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to perform well under pressure
High integrity, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Proficiency with MS Office, access control systems and incident management tools
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Fluency in English and Italian and legal permission to work in Italy
