Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security Manager to oversee daily security operations at the Sydney Fish Market, one of Sydney’s most iconic and vibrant precincts. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the site, working closely with clients, tenants, and a dedicated on-site team to deliver a professional and customer-focused service.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of security officers across the site
  • Oversee access control, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and crowd management
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, tenants, and local authorities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and site-specific security procedures
  • Conduct incident reviews, prepare reports, and recommend continuous improvements
  • Support recruitment, rostering, and performance management of security personnel
  • Provide high-quality security services in accordance with client requirements and internal standards
  • Operate and utilise ACESGroup’s technology platforms to support site safety and reporting
  • Maintain accurate records and complete reports through digital systems
  • Collaborate with team members and management to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Security Licence (NSW 1A)
  • Proven experience in a Security Supervisor or Manager role (3+ years preferred)
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with a customer-centric approach
  • Proven CCTV operational experience across a range of technical systems
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional personal presentation
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Unrestricted NSW Driver Licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Additional certifications (or willingness to obtain): White Card, Fire Warden, SEINS, Traffic Control, Working with Children Check
