This position is responsible for observing, monitoring, and protecting all assets of the company, guests, vendors, and team members. All positions within 7 CLANS CASINOS are responsible for the overall maintaining of excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace. All positions within the Enterprise require attention to quality guest services skills and exceptional team work. This position is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of guests, team members, vendors, and all company assets.
Job Responsibility:
Observing, monitoring, and protecting all assets of the company, guests, vendors, and team members
Maintaining excellent guest services, efficient productivity, and providing an orderly, safe, and exciting workplace
Ensuring the security and safety of guests, team members, vendors, and all company assets
Patrolling all sections of property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security and report to lead and or supervisor
Working effectively with all departments assuring efficient security support is provided when needed
Remaining alert to any unusual or questionable activity by casino Team Members, vendors, or gaming guest
Maintaining excellent working relationships with other company staff, vendors, and contractors
Aiding law enforcement authorities as needed under the direction of management
Regularly assisting in transporting and escorts regarding assets transported throughout locations of the operational facilities during their assigned shift including assisting with guest escorts when requested
Documents and reports all applicable incidents in accordance with company policy
Ensure that all functions and duties are maintained in a professional and efficient manner
Perform other duties as assigned by Department Management
Monitors all relevant activities of the department, to ensure that all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and controls of the organization, and the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) and the Otoe-Missouria Gaming Commission (OMGC) are understood and enforced
Ensures all assigned staff are aware of, understands and complies with regulatory requirements and enforces regulatory standards through discipline when necessary
Performs all duties in accordance with company team member handbook, objectives of the Otoe Missouria Tribe, internal policies, procedures, and controls, as well as applicable laws and gaming regulations
Forms opinions and makes decisions based on information and the identification of available facts
Avoid situations that could be deemed illegal or represent a safety hazard to fellow team members or guests
Continually evaluates means and methods of departmental operations to ensure maximum efficiency
Makes effort to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, departmental log/shift reports, departmental/company emails, signage, and company newsletter.
Requirements:
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
One (1) to Two (2) years’ experience in security preferred or a combination of education and security experience within specific areas of responsibility
Casino experience preferred
An equivalent combination of Customer Service and Communications experience may be required
Must be punctual and dependable
Knowledge, skills, and experience in the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of staff, communications, decision making, problem solving, complaint resolution and resources allocation
Read, write, and speak the English language
Perform intermediate mathematical computations up to and including probability and statistics
Protect the Company’s value by keeping information confidential
Perform assigned tasks under supervision
Establish and maintain positive relationships with executive level management, other managerial and supervisory staff, and other Team Members
Work well alone or within a team
Present facts and recommendations in oral and written form
Utilize MS Office products at basic to intermediate skill level
Exercise sound judgment and make decisions
Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to provide all documents required to show the incumbent is eligible to work in the United States
Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license to work in a casino from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission
