Security guard

• Observing, monitoring, and protecting all assets of the company, guests, vendors, and team members
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of guests, vendors, and fellow team members
• Patrols all sections of property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security
• Works effectively with all departments assuring efficient security support
• Remains alert to any unusual or questionable activity
• Maintains excellent working relationships with other company staff, vendors, and contractors
• Aids law enforcement authorities as needed
• Regularly assist in transporting and escorts regarding assets transported throughout locations
• Documents and reports all applicable incidents
• Ensure that all functions and duties are maintained in a professional and efficient manner
• Monitors all relevant activities of the department to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations
• Ensures all assigned staff are aware of, understands and complies with regulatory requirements
• Performs all duties in accordance with company team member handbook, objectives, policies, and applicable laws
• Forms opinions and makes decisions based on information and the identification of available facts
• Continually evaluates means and methods of departmental operations to ensure maximum efficiency
• Makes effort to keep informed of company information and communications.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• One (1) to Two (2) years’ experience in security preferred or a combination of education and security experience
• Casino experience preferred
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Read, write, and speak the English language
• Perform intermediate mathematical computations
• Protect the Company’s value by keeping information confidential
• Perform assigned tasks under supervision
• Establish and maintain positive relationships
• Utilize MS Office products at basic to intermediate skill level
• Exercise sound judgment and make decisions
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to provide documents required to work in the United States
• Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Otoe Missouria Gaming Commission
• Must have Otoe Missouria Gaming License
• Must have Driver’s License
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and push, pull or drag up to 150 lbs.

An equivalent combination of Customer Service and Communications experience may be required.
