Job Description:

As a Security Officer Patrol Tablet Reporting in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Job Responsibility:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, data-sensitive areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report access control issues, suspicious behavior, and other security-related matters
Support daily operations by completing routine logs, incident reports, and shift communications, while remaining prepared to assist with site-specific procedures during escalations and/or emergencies

Requirements:

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control and badge experience is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Nice to have:

CPR and First Aid certification
