Requirements

At least six months of security-related experience is required
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only

Job Responsibility

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry
Report and document any observed irregularities, unusual incidents, or security-related concerns as per Allied Universal protocols
Assist visitors, contractors, and/or employees with site-specific information and guidelines as needed
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related matters and support a secure environment in a logistics and distribution context
