Job Description:

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Banking Sector in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer, where you will actively monitor and patrol a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential risks
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior
  • Assist employees and visitors with security-related inquiries and provide clear guidance as needed
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders during incidents as necessary
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and promote a secure environment

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
  • Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
