Job Description:

As a Security Guard - Shopping Center Driver in Mililani, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence while interacting with the public. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling via vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with directions and general information as needed
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and the site supervisor
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site staff to maintain a welcoming environment

Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
