Job Description:

As a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support store teams through clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal’s driver policy. Bring your reliability and integrity to a team that is agile, innovative, and people-first.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service to clients, team members, and shoppers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, disorderly conduct, and medical calls, and/or coordinating with store management and local responders as needed
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances and exits, stock areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter theft and/or property damage
  • Monitor activity at entry points and high-traffic areas, watch for policy violations, and report suspicious behavior using established reporting and communication protocols
  • Assist with loss prevention support tasks such as observing and documenting activity, completing detailed incident reports, and/or preserving scene information for management and law enforcement when requested

Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
