As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with opportunities to respond to security-related concerns, document activity, and collaborate with clinical teams. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide customer service in a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, corridors, waiting rooms, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy concerns
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital staff and local responders when needed
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, badge and/or credential checks when assigned, and support orderly movement of patients, staff, and visitors
  • Complete timely reports and documentation of incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to the site supervisor and/or client representatives

Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located
  • Hospital vaccines are required
  • Applicants must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security experience
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
  • Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment
  • Applicants must have 2+ years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field
  • Applicants must have 5+ years of security experience
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
