Job Description:

The Security Escort provides daily services to escort un-cleared contractors and visitors in restricted areas and facilities during design, installation, configuration, and transition to operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Remains alert and focused at all times while carrying out escort duties
  • Maintains close proximity to visitors to prevent disclosure of classified information
  • Monitors and escorts un-cleared workers in restricted areas and facilities at all times
  • Maintains visual and auditory contact of all un-cleared visitors under their control
  • Alerts occupants in all offices prior to permitting an un-cleared visitor to enter
  • Detects and deters any covert attempt to obtain classified information
  • Takes all breaks at the same time as escorted visitor or arranges for temporary relief
  • Notifies Government Contracting Officer Representative of any inconsistent security practices
  • Maintains all required security trainings/certifications

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Top Secret Clearance and be able to obtain SCI credentials
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of six (6) months relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education/experience

Nice to have:

Experience in facility/physical security and on-site Sensitive Compartmented (SCIF) escort experience a plus
