Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to design, implement, and support security controls across enterprise systems, cloud environments, and networks. This role focuses on threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and maintaining strong security posture across the organization. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with modern security tools, cloud platforms, and industry best practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Implement and maintain security tools including EDR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and identity security solutions
  • Monitor security events, analyze alerts, and respond to potential threats
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation planning
  • Support security operations including incident triage, investigations, and documentation
  • Maintain and improve cloud and on‑prem security configurations (AWS, Azure, O365, firewalls, network appliances)
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and technical controls
  • Support IAM processes including MFA enforcement, privilege management, and access reviews
  • Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, and DevOps teams to ensure secure architectures
  • Contribute to security automation, hardening, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or related technical security roles
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as: EDR: CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender for Endpoint
  • SIEM: Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, LogRhythm
  • Vulnerability Management: Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7
  • Strong understanding of network security: firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS or Azure) including IAM, logging, monitoring, policy hardening
  • Knowledge of incident response processes and security frameworks (NIST, CIS)
  • Ability to analyze logs, correlate events, and identify security anomalies

Nice to have

  • Experience automating security processes using Python, PowerShell, or similar
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and CI/CD security controls
  • Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC, or cloud security certs (AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty)
  • Experience writing or maintaining security documentation and runbooks
