We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Security Officers to work at one of our prestigious University Campus located in an iconic part of London. It is an exciting time to join our award-winning Company as we continue to grow and secure high-profile corporate security contracts within the central London region. There will be event work occasionally during weekends that you will be requested to cover on a rotation with other team members. You will be expected to cross train across all campus buildings and environments and assist where operationally required.
Job Responsibility:

Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site
All Assignment Instructions are to be reviewed, understood and followed
Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks or responsibilities to the highest possible standard
To complete any other reasonable task as instructed by your line manager or other Senior Manager, either Unitrust or at the request of the Client
To act with integrity and in the best interests of the company and client in a safe, compliant and ethical manner
To be resilient to working in the most sensitive environments, always dealing with any conflict with a respectful and empathic approach
Be prepared to manage a wide variety and diversity of scenarios, people and challenges
Assist in the induction, development, or ongoing training of new team members across the disciplines where appropriate
Welcome and assist staff, clients, students and visitors to the premises in a warm and courteous fashion maintaining excellence as a standard throughout the customer journey
Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas
Check identity and credentials of staff, contractors and visitors where required
Work with all colleagues to ensure the integrity of security on the site
Early identification and mitigation of any threats to persons, premises or property, escalating where appropriate to do so
Rotation on different posts and shift patterns where required
Have an outstanding knowledge of the premises (inside and external) and able to assist staff, clients, students, and visitors with their queries
Respond to alarms
Key Control
Record details of any suspected criminal activity on the premises (internal and external)
commencing investigative procedures prior to onward reporting where necessary
Develop and maintain positive interactive relationships with all staff, visitors, students, service providers and clients
