Microsoft is hiring security professionals to drive customer cloud security adoption for customers around the world. This is a customer-facing role, owning the overall technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft.
Job Responsibility:
Drive customer transformation on the Azure and Microsoft 365 Platform
Own the overall technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft
Own data security customer engagements, including architecture, technical readiness, implementation, and optimization in production based on the products of Microsoft Purview
Deliver pro-active support delivery services through the customer’s unified contract
Have data security discussions with customer decision makers such as CISOs, Enterprise Security Architects, Enterprise Architects, IT and Security Management, Data security and compliance officers to drive data security as an enabler for cloud workloads in Azure and Microsoft 365
Requirements:
Technical experience in Data Security and understanding of Microsoft Purview architectures and their implementations at enterprise-scale
Understanding of the overall data security market and the competitive landscape
Understanding of the current regulations and certifications (e.g. ISO27001, NIS-2) and current developments in the data security area
Expertise in one or more of the following solutions or competitive products: Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Microsoft Purview eDiscovery, Microsoft Purview Data Loss prevention, Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management
Customer focused mindset enjoying the work with customers (internal or external) as a trusted technical advisor aiming for realizing the value for the customer
Relationship Building. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with decision makers. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on data security solutions/projects
Problem Solving. Ability to solve customer data security problems through cloud technologies
Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
Customer Focus. Customer obsessed leader with an “if I don’t know how to get it done, I’ll find someone who does” approach to solving customer challenges
Value Realization. Ability to understand customer business objectives and outcomes and ability to quickly leverage tech solutions to accomplish those outcomes
Trusted Technical Advisor. Ability to build strong relationships with security decision makers and build credibility and be viewed as a trusted advisor
