Join our Cache Creek 400,000-square-foot luxury Casino Resort in beautiful Brooks, California, as a Security Supervisor. The Security Supervisor will assist the Casino Security Shift Manager with Security personnel, law enforcement agencies and local partners as requested. The Casino Security Supervisor will perform all duties in accordance with Security Department policies and procedures. They will establish proper deployment strategies, supervise their personnel and monitor the performance of personnel under their span of control.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise Security and Dispatch Officers while ensuring they comply with all departmental and company policies and procedures
Proactively recognize and manage emergency situations
Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocol for reporting injuries
Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information
Follow directions and/or orders from supervisory personnel, particularly during an active shooter, assault or other similar situation
Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons
Ethically lead the organization with methods and actions that fully comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Identify potential compliance risks and take necessary actions to eliminate or minimize them
Promote a culture of compliance within the organization and encourage an environment where employees are comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct
Train, engage, mentor and support personnel
Ability to physically engage with a person who is threatening others and accurately handle and shoot a firearm
Write detailed reports and provide court testimony when necessary
Respond calmly to crisis and stressful situations and make rational decisions when addressing guest and employee issues
Lead by example, employ the “Three Es” of guest service, and follow the R.I.C.H. core values (Respect, Integrity, Commitment and Humility)
Requirements:
Associate’s degree
three years casino security experience, tribal security experience, training experience, investigation experience, or law enforcement experience
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have prior firearms experience and be able to complete all required firearms trainings and certifications
Internal applicants must be a current employee of the Cache Creek Casino Resort Security Department with three years’ experience
Must be at least 21 years of age
Cache Creek Casino Resort Tribal Gaming License
Red Cross First Aid & CPR Certificate
Annual Certification in firearms
Completion of the Security Department’s Defense and Detention Course
Completion of the Security Department’s Firearms Course
Must pass all firearms, defense and written testing required for the position within the first 80 days of appointment/employment
Must possess their own firearm
Must follow Security department protocols regarding firearms authorized for use
