The AI Security Architect role focuses on leveraging expertise in information and cyber security to assist clients in their transformation journeys. Candidates should have a strong consulting background and experience in defining enterprise security architecture, managing security risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. A minimum of 7 years of experience is required, along with relevant certifications such as Open CA and TOGAF. The position involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable security solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Work in the capabilities phases of the systems development life cycle
unpacking and translating technology security requirements, business and environmental conditions into enterprise security architecture patterns and processes
Identify Business objectives, goals and strategy
Identify Business attributes that are required to achieve those goals
Identify Enterprise
assets, systems, and information processes to support enterprise mission needs
Identify Stakeholder security requirements for protecting the organization’s mission and business processes
Identify The risk associated with the attributes that can prevent a business from achieving its goals
Identify The required controls to manage the risk
Identify assumptions, issues and dependencies
Define Strategic, tactical and operational client Enterprise Security Architecture or Security Solution Architecture options
Define Information Technology (IT), Network & Security principles, and the requirements that describe baseline and target architectures
Define Security architectures that manages business risks
Define Logical Security control architectures, mapping to conceptual and contextual architectures
Define Organizational and Operational architectures
Define Security controls in line with good industry Security practices
Define Programmes or project to design and implement those controls
Review, challenge / validate Client requirements and supporting Use Cases
Review, challenge / validate Solution and segment architectures align to business mission and processes
Oversee, evaluate, and support Documentation, validation, assessment, and authorisation processes necessary to assure new and existing information
Oversee, evaluate, and support Discovery and audits, for extraction of findings and documentation of recommendations
Oversee, evaluate, and support The adoption of Cyber / Technology Security Controls Frameworks and using this to implement solutions
Demonstrate Subject matter knowledge in the architecture of specific Security domains
Demonstrate Your ability to take both clients and colleagues on a journey
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience
Strong consulting background
Experience in defining enterprise security architecture
Experience in managing security risks
Experience in ensuring compliance with industry standards
Relevant certifications such as Open CA and TOGAF
Multi-year client-facing project and presentation experience in a professional services environment
Ability to operate in demanding situations
Strong influencer with ability to build good working relationships
Must be able to interface with and build relationships with Enterprise Architects, business people, and technologists at all levels
Evidence of continued personal growth attaining necessary further architectural and security qualifications
Hold or are willing to hold vetting certification such as SC
Previous experience of working within a Public Sector/Defence environment
Nice to have:
Subject matter knowledge in the architecture of specific Security domains (for example: PAM / IAM, Cloud, IoT, Threat Profiling, etc.)
Knowledge of concepts and principles of 'Secure by Design' and 'Zero Trust'
Experienced in shaping a variety of end to end control requirements across
application, systems and infrastructure, in hybrid Cloud (inc. O/D365, AWS, Azure, GCP) and On-Prem
Ability to architect solutions across service and network infrastructure
