Job Description

Due to rapid expansion our client has 2 new openings for Security Alarm Technicians . You can work and live in one of these three areas in Collingwood area or Midland area or Muskoka area. Great benefits and gas card along with a company car or truck you can drive to and from work and also able to use for personal use. If you have worked as Alarm or Water technician before then increase in pay rate based on experience . We have an open position at Collingwood, ON , Midland, ON and Muskoka , ON. All three position are on the road servicing customers. The regular hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a 30 min unpaid lunch. Full benefits pay rate $27.00 -$30.00 hrly

Job Responsibility

  • Perform maintenance, as required installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and related to alarm detection systems, door/access control systems, public address/intercom systems, CCTV systems and control and display systems
  • Maintenance service for alarm systems, 24/7 during on-call rotation
  • Participate in on call emergency hours as needed and take part in the normal on-call rotation for emergency after-hours service
  • Inspect the installation of equipment to meet customer specifications
  • Provide customer with informative summary of work to be done or recommendations for alarm system following inspection
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics and operational/product manuals
  • Provide consistently high levels of customer service
  • Continue to take courses to upgrade knowledge of products as required
  • Performs other related duties as directed

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years in the installation of alarm security (commercial and residential)
  • High school diploma
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Above average problem-solving skills
  • Above average computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Clean Criminal Record Check
  • Valid drivers license with clean abstract
